Lexi: Senior Portraits

Location: Plymouth, MI, USA
Hello all! Hope you're having a fantastic week. :) Today's post is about a lovely lady who is very special to me. Lexi and I met 5 years ago when I lived in Virginia and started writing letters to each other. After the first few letters I knew that Lexi was a strong Christian and really loved people. I was encouraged by her openness and humble spirit that was always seeking to glorify God. After writing to each other we got to spend more time together in person and with each other's families. Let me tell ya, visits with their family are just THE BEST! Mine and Lexi's relationship has grown into something much stronger than just friends. We are sisters in Christ and I love her (and her family) as my own family. I love how we can be completely honest with one another, build one another up in Christ, and especially pray for one another. It's been amazing to grow up with Lexi and I'm so excited for what God has in store for her in this new stage of life. It was such a pleasure to take your photos. Congratulations!! :D

So, I asked Lexi some questions to add to the photos so she could share a bit about herself. Enjoy!

What is your favorite hobby?
I love to write. I love to explore life and thought, to share knowledge and joy and worship through writing.

If you could be any fictional book character, who would you be? And why?
I would love to be Susan Pevensie (Chronicles of Narnia). Her older sister instincts, her intimate friendship with Aslan, her struggle with doubt and selfishness all appeal to my sympathy.

What is your ideal vacation getaway?
Haystack Rock, Oregon in April, when hundreds of beautiful, blue velellas have washed up on the beach around the rocks.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I always love the night and occasionally love the morning.

What's been the coolest (or craziest!) thing about graduating?
When I finished high school, my first reaction was, "What? I'm done? I never thought I'd make it!" I'ts awesome to look back over the past four years and see how God has sustained me.

Here's one of both of us. I had so much fun taking your portraits, Lex! :)

Thanks for visiting!
