Gifts, Snow, and Eggnog

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We did! This year I was even more overwhelmed by how blessed we are. God is so good to His children!

When our Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth to live, die, and rise again for the sin of the world He gave the greatest gift ever. He gave us His salvation so that we may be fellows heirs with Christ. What a miraculous and awesome thing!

May all glory and honor and dominion be to the Lord forever and ever!

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."

-Luke 2:13-14

It was so joyful and special to be able to give and receive with the people I love.

Many of the photos I have taken of our Christmas tree haven't been very satisfactory. I think one of the reasons might be the lighting in our living room. Not always the best...
I did read some stuff from pinterest on how to photograph them but the results weren't that great (or at least I didn't think so).
Any suggestions?

I am normally not very satisfied with my gift wrapping skills but I think Pinterest (and some creative friends) has helped me out a little. Besides it was way more fun than using paper and tape! So, I took a picture. :)

Elijah waiting for things to happen!
